Silvana Hurtado Dianderas is a Peruvian Visual Artist with interest in interactive and immersive experiences. In her current work, she creates connections between natural environments and the human body. She uses two-dimensional maps to connect different theoretical approaches to embodiment with her own sensorial experiences. With them, she produces whole-body installations exploring the limits of visuality as the primary sense. Her research is the continuation of previous work that studied landscapes as self-reflection mechanisms. She explored, using mixed media and sculpture, how addressing landscapes as an utopia can help understand her own experiences from a distance.
