terms and conditions

 

1.- The contract is valid from 17:00 on the arrival day until 17:00 on the departure day. These hours can be modified at customer’s request and accepted by the owners if the arrival or departure of other guests allows it.

2.- A reservation will be considered a “pre-booking” from the time a customer verbally or in written form requests a stay until the customer pays a pre-deposit for 25% of the total for a reservation of less than 7 seven days, or 50% for a reservation of 7 days or more. The amount should be paid no later than 4 days after the confirmation of the stay by the owners.

3.- The “pre-booking” will be a “confirmed booking” once the deposit is received. The remaining balance is to be paid on the arrival day once the customers get to Mas Palou.

4.- Upon arrival, the owner might ask for a security deposit of 150 € that will be given back after the stay as long as there are no damages (in furniture, appliances or other utensils)

5.- The cancellation of the booking will be according to the Catalan Government regulations and may lead to the loss of the down payment. However, if the house is then booked by other guests during the same dates, Mas Palou commits to give back the whole down payment. In case it is Mas Palou who cancels the booking due to a force majeure situation, Mas Palou commits to give back the down payment and find an alternative accomodation if the customer desires so.

6.- The short term rental contract will include the use of furniture, kitchen utensils and dining room, as well as the expenses derived from the use of water, gas, electricity, heating and firewood.

7.- The bedding, towels, toilet paper and kitchen paper, as well as cleaning products, are all included in the price.

8.- The customer will take good care of the house, its furniture, and any appliances or equipment in it. The owner reserves the right to request payment or replacement for any damages.

9.- The owner will have the right to ask for an additional fee if the customer brings any pets. The customer is expected to be especially careful with the animal’s documentation, any damages that it could cause, and the dirt that it may leave behind.

10. It is not allowed to smoke on the upper floor. Customers can smoke in the living room, although outdoor spaces are preferred.

11. – If neccesary, the owners will provide a crib

12.- If the clients invite others not previously indicated to the house, the owners will have the right to ask for an additional fee.

13.- The client will leave the house at the agreed time and date at the end of the stay will be sure to return the keys to the owners.

14.- The contract will finish automatically, without any notification, once the booking dates have passed.

15.- During the summer season, bookings of a whole week are prioritized. These stays will begin on a Saturday from 17:00 in the afternoon and will finish the following Saturday from 10:00 in the morninig.
